Did You Know…
4 February, 2008… that Miramar is where all the churches are?
… that our house is where the seventies were born, lived, and died?
… that some bosses will give you a half day off to do an impromptu move?
… that lino floors and orange walls make footprints echo like gunshots?
… that some moving companies see a confirmed 1pm start time as a more flexible general agreement.
… that Miramar is where the chocolate fish became the chocolate frog, and tucked itself into the Palmers Garden Center?
… that Miramar supports two pizza companies, a sports bar, and a dodgy looking Thai restaurant that some people swear by?
… that some boyfriends will buy you a monthly bus pass on IOU becase they know you’re worried about all the travelling you’re going to have to do before payday comes again.

I did not know any of those things. Thanks for enlightening me.
considering i don’t really have a clear idea where miramar is… uh, nope. didn’t know any of those things. but the last one sounds very sweet
The 1pm is more a suggestion than an agreement.
Chocolate fish/frogs are nice to meet anywhere.
Thankyou Ben.
Jess: I didn’t either until Friday last week…
Alice: Well Duh, Miramar is past the airport… In Wellington… New Zealand… We’re under Australia…
Dad: Don’t you start with that ’suggestion’ bull. Louise nearly leapt down the throat of the last guy who tried to tell her that it wasn’t a confirmed appointment. When you’re down next I’ll have to take you for coffee in the garden centre… They have the best brownies!
Oh dear, I am guessing you got the movers at some point though and didnt have to take all your furniture under your arm on the bus?
Good on Ben, lol that its IOU thought
Oh, I have a big carpet mat thing you are welcome to have to make your room less linoy and echoy, I used it when I was in a room with a wooden floor. Although it will need trnasport from my garage, and I’m not down your way till August at this stage…
That’s cool, thanks for the offer, but I actually brought some throw rugs to put on the floor, and they’re working fine
